Please contact me if you are struggling with your mental health and well being during the corona virus pandemic. I am happy to offer telephone and video link support and can offer you a free half hour initial consultation.
Welcome, my name is Judith Gardner. I qualified with an accredited Diploma of Higher Education at Southampton University as an accredited integrative relational counsellor. This means that I use a framework which enables me to combine different elements of theory to find the best approach for you. I am a member of the BACP .
I have over 30 years experience working in various health care settings. My experience enables me to offer effective support for any mental health or well being issues that you may have. I have a special interest in mental health recovery and managing emotions.
My focus is to help individuals recover from their difficulties, focusing on individual strengths. I achieve this by providing a comfortable, safe space, listening to your concerns and customising a treatment plan.
I promise to do my best for you during our work together. My goal is to help you overcome the challenges you are facing without judgement and in complete confidence.
Depression, fear and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counselling, I will be able to help you recover motivation, perspective and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and recovery.
Everyone struggles with emotions at times. Where once we felt we had good coping mechanisms, these may often be lost after difficult events. Emotions may take over and we need to re-learn how to manage them. I am able to teach you how to change your perspective and feel more in control.
